Welcome to the home page of David Francis, Independent Paranormal Researcher.
Why research the paranormal?
Having had some experiences in my life that I was not able to explain, I began exploring the possibilities of these experiences being of a paranormal nature in 2007 as a member of Worcester Regional Area Investigation Team - Hauntings. It was a wonderful learning experience, and in the past few years have been exploring paranormal research from a semi-skeptical viewpoint.
I decided to branch off as an independent paranormal researcher in July of 2008, and offer my services to local paranormal investigative teams. Most importantly, I offer to help anyone who has questions about paranormal phenomena better understand what may be happening. I do this in a three fold manner:
1.) In-depth research of the property or area where the claims originate.
2.) Try to eliminate all natural possibilities that could explain the phenomena before deeming anything paranormal.
3.) Share my findings with others to better understand the data gathered and try to come up with the best way to help.
My goals in investigating the paranormal are also three fold:
1.) To offer and objective, honest investigation based on your experiences.
2.) To offer help and support to any local investigative teams, and develop a network for peer review to help better my own research, and the research community as a whole.
3.) To share what I have learned, to discover what I have no answers for, and to remain open minded to the possibilities that arise.
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO PROOF TO DATE TO SUGGEST WE KNOW WHAT ANY PARANORMAL PHENOMENA IS.
Be wary of teams and individuals who claim otherwise. Personal beliefs can blur the lines with which researchers of the paranormal approach their research. WE ARE NOT DOING THIS TO VALIDATE YOUR EXPERIENCE, NOR SHOULD ANYONE DOWNPLAY YOUR OWN EXPERIENCES. As an independent researcher, I promote critical thinking and striving towards offering anyone requesting my service the most honest, objective study and data I can. My job is not to prove paranormal phenomena - it is to help you figure things out.
If you believe are experiencing some form of paranormal phenomena and have questions, or are part of an investigative team in the eastern Massachusetts area in need of assistance, email me at email@example.com.
